1st Annual FPCC Spring Art Exhibit and Sale
The Fort Peck Community College invites you to participate in our 1st Annual FPCC Art Exhibit and Sale on Friday, April 25 and Saturday, April 26, 2008, at Greet the Dawn Auditorium in Poplar, Montana. The college is located at 605 Indian Avenue, Poplar, Montana, just north of Hwy. 2.
Show Times
The show will be held from 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day, with booth set-up from 8 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 24. The Artist whose work has been accepted must be present for the duration of the show!
Eligible Media
Cultural Arts
Basketry, bows (arrow), robes and clothing, (traditional), quill work, beadwork, ancient tools, leather, par-fleche, and woodcarving.
Fine Arts
Painting – Oil, pastel, acrylic, water, pen, pencil and charcoal.
Sculpture – Bronze, stone, metal, and wood.
All work submitted and exhibited must be the “original work” of the Artist and produced only by the exhibiting Artist. Signed, limited edition reproductions shall be allowed, but no photocopies. Reproductions must occupy less than one third of the total display area. No items will be accepted which are deemed “inappropriate” by the show committee.
